Alongside the 100mm frame, we hold a complete 55mm double glazed awning window range. It is a slimmer section that suits tighter openings, older homes with narrow reveals, and projects where the budget needs to go elsewhere.

The 55mm awning range also comes with stainless steel mesh flyscreens. Eight sizes are in stock, from 600H × 600W through to 2050H × 900W, priced from $270 ex GST.

An awning window opens out from the bottom on a hinge at the top. The gap it creates is only as wide as the frame allows and it sits well back from the opening, so a tool cannot easily reach a sash to lever it. That is why they are the standard choice for bathroom, laundry and ground floor windows.
Yes, with stainless steel mesh as standard on both the 100mm and 55mm frames. We do not sell awning windows without a screen — an awning window without one is a bug invitation.
Yes. The stainless steel mesh allows airflow while keeping insects out. You get the security benefit of the awning configuration and the insect protection of a screen at the same time.
The 100mm frame is thermally broken and performs better, which is why we recommend it wherever the opening allows. The 55mm frame is a slimmer, more economical option that suits tighter openings and is the size we hold in greater volume. Both are double glazed and both come with mesh screens.
Yes, outwards from the bottom. That means you will need clearance outside the window for the sash to swing and for access to clean the glass. In a bathroom this is usually fine — it is worth checking in a tight courtyard or under a deep eave.
